After A Long While...

Harloz, been about 2 weeks since I last posted, lol.

Had been playing Crysis + Kane & Lynch about half a week back, great games. Doubt I'll be playing any new games for quite a while though, since I should start to study...

Managed to get all the albums except 1 for Stormwitch. Pretty good metal band, although it's mainly about more abstract stuff. Also there's this album that's very little metal, Shogun. If you want you can always listen to some of their songs. And yah, can anyone tell me how do I place music on my blog? Tried a few but they never work out. Sian.

March holidays are coming soon, and with it the March tests as well. Irritating TJC, don't have March Common Test also replace with other tests, might as well just have a March Common Test and begone with all this lame crap. Sighz. And thinking about it, I haven't touched my lecture notes in quite a while... Maybe if I studied I could actually pass for once.

Oh and yeah, my GP teacher is changing. Mr Tong said he's leaving our class, so once again we have a change of GP teachers. Wonder if it might be Mr Veera again. Who knows? Like they say... the only constant in life is change. At least hope it won't be like my Chinese teachers in VS, changed like 4-6 times in those 4 years. Hectic stuff.

That's all for now I guess... Adieu!

Revelations?

Harloz, been quite some time since I last posted... okay lar, not really that long, haha.

Few days ago, my GP teacher, surprisingly, gave me some food for thought. We were talking about what would you ask for if a genie were to grant you a wish. Well, knowing me, I asked for having the "Time to play all the games in the world", hahaha. Well, that fell into the "Immortality" category. Later someone asked for "Wisdom", and it was the answer Mr. Tong was awaiting as well. Goes to show how much he values wisdom. But exactly how valuable is wisdom to you? Or, what would you actually ask for?

Wealth
Power
Fame
Beauty
Intelligence
Knowledge
Wisdom
Love
Immortality
Youth
Friendship
Family
Everlasting
Happiness
Stability
Infinity
Satisfaction
Understanding

What would you seek? I asked myself that question, over and over. It's been pretty interesting, understanding myself better, delving into the hidden recesses of my pith, and finding what is it I truly would want. Wealth, I'll say 90%-95% of the human population would desire that, although it doesn't truly matter to me (eh, but don't try to start asking me for free drinks hor). I also remember telling my friend, "Doesn't really matter where I go after I die lar, just die and then disappear lor... Leave and let be. Just do my part and leave lor." Something liddat la. Maybe it falls under "Satisfaction"? Probably. After all, "True happiness is satisfaction", it's something taught in Buddhism, and it's really true la (to me at least).

Okay okay, enough of such stuff. I know tomorrow is... I mean, today is Valentine's Day, so, enjoy your Valentine's Day and your chocolates! Haha. Also kena sabo-ed by my friend, sian sia. Somehow, his friend's friends are in TJC, and his friend knows that I happen to be in TJC as well (what an unfortunate coincidence), so she decided to ask my friend to ask me to pass some things to her friends in TJC. Best thing was, I don't even know who they are! Okay la, maybe remember one of them from my Orientation group, but the other one is completely don't know. Sian. Somemore tomorrow the classes are not aligned as usual, since it has to be Valentine's Day a.k.a. Friendship Day for JCs. Tough luck. Oh well.

Anyway, enjoy your Valentine's Day, and here's a song about love. Hope you enjoy! EmoCean by Lunatica, album The Edge Of Infinity. Melodic/Symphonic metal by the way.

Chinese New Year!

Harloz!

Happy Chinese New Year! Xin Nian Kuai Le! Wan Shi Ru Yi!

Yay! It's CNY! Fun times, probably gonna gain mass, sian. Need to go on mass loss programme after CNY, hopefully can lose mass until 70kg from my current 86kg. Okay la... 16kg to lose... since I managed to lose 22kg in 4-5 months last time until 84kg I should be able to lose 16kg easily enough.

Enjoying myself, especially during mealtimes (Had steamboat on the first night, and the Fa Cai is nice!) and playing WC3:FT! Yep, I got it back from my friend PY. Now can enjoy DotA and TDs at home. Sad thing is internet connection jialat, always lag like nobody's business. At least can play la.

Later going out to bai nian, 2 places somemore, then gonna GPL! (Go Play Lan) Meanwhile when visiting my teacher's house can sun bian play Puzzle Fighter and challenge my friends again... last year I beat the other guy 5x in a row, heheh, then kena ban from Puzzle Fighter because we were playing winner stay (although he kept hogging the place because he wanted revenge and get his 1st place back)... hahaha. This year my friend say see who can join us in the "Banlist". Fun st00fz.

Whew, must sleep now, got a long day ahead man. Abo later you see me fishing on the MRT fish until miss the stop, then reach the place late. Now that's troublesome.

Night! Enjoy your New Year! Hou Hui You Qi!

Sian

Hi there.

It has been a damn sian weekend for me.

First off: Downloaded Prey and Call Of Duty 4, and both doesn't work. Damnit!
Second off: As a result, I have totally nothing much to do during the weekend.
Third off: I figured three things looked better than just two things.

So I basically stoned my weekend away. So, I'll just talk about the other few days before the weekend.

Friday, I was going out to meet my friends, but I overslept my siesta, so I was a bit late, since it was already 7pm and I was supposed to meet them at 7:30pm, so I was chionging already, 'cause better late a bit than late like funfair. Then I was going to cross this junction, and it had a lot of cars, and coincidently I was messaging my friend telling him I was probably going to be quite late, and I was waiting at the side with another woman with her child. One car just passed me, then I saw the woman walk forward in my peripheral vision, so I thought the road was clear already, then actually the woman was just bloody walking forward to get closer to the road, and I stepped one foot on the road and a car brushed past me (I was 1-2cm away from the car). Damnit man, how suey can you get?

Soon enough I was on the train to Bugis, and I was thinking about the car incident. To be more accurate, I was thinking of "Hmm... what was the driver scolding me?" rather than "Shit man! I could've died!". Maybe it's time I went for a psychological check-up. The train was bloody packed and full as well, had to squeeze and maneuver through the crowd just to exit the train. I wonder how many tins of sardine were made that day. Nevertheless, met with my friends BLim and ChangYang, as well as their friend ChiChi (More of CY's friend I think). Then we went off to makan.

We ate at Terra, and I had chicken steak, while CY had some salmon fillet and BLim and ChiChi had Fish 'n' Chips. Since we ordered the set meals we had a soup of clam chowder before the main course and a scoop of vanilla ice cream as dessert. Yummy. Meanwhile we shared lame jokes and stuff while we ate, although I thought the air-conditioner was already cold enough. After that we walked around Bugis and talk cock sing song, then we went back to the MRT station and went home. Fun stuffs.

Oh, and yeah, a little video for the masses (or, realistically speaking, trickle) who actually visit my website, here's a little something for entertainment:

I Love This Song...

Hey there. I said I might update only on the weekend, but I decided to just put this song.

It's a song by Dragonland, a power metal band. No worries, it isn't drum-spam and guitar-meshing. It's a very nice and sad song.

Forever Walking Alone

And these are the lyrics for the song:

Alone I travel though the wasteland in my heart
As the grievance tears me apart
Thinking of you and the things you meant to me
My heart is bleeding, I can't go on

If I could unwind the wheel of time
I would have been by your side

If I could turn back time
My precious love would be alive

The empty void inside my heart grows day by day
I have nowhere to turn to ease the pain
Remembering the smile you used to give me
And your laughter that could light
My way home

If I could unwind the wheel of time
I would have been by your side

If I could turn back time
I never had a chance to say goodbye

I have cried and mourned my loss
My heart keeps beating only for you
Am I strong enough to fight on?
Without your love I stand, I stand empty and alone

[Acoustic solo]
[Solo]

So my love watch over me now
My rage catches fire, I will strike them down
I will avenge you, oh, vengeance so sweet
That's my last gift for you
I'm forever walking alone
__________

Beautiful song, from Dragonland. Great band indeed. Anyway, I must sleep now. Night! Zzz

Whew

Harlo!

Well, first things first, I made a mistake on my previous post; it's the iPod Nano, not "mini" lol. Sounds nearly the same, had me all mixed up >.<

Anyway, been busy trying to finish up my poem (Of course, eh-hem, my schoolwork as well, definitely). Anyway, posted an entirely new poem yesterday, "Winter Solace", as well as revamped the old story "Flowers" to have more descriptive language. As for my other poem, still work in progress, and I do notice I've been updating my blog extremely frequently as of late.

Well, too much stuff to say, not enough time to tell... Okay that's lame. Well, focusing alot on my writings these days since I've been trying to get that poem finished and my brain is attuned to literature recently. Perchance I'll get another story up. Perhaps. Still, today was pretty much a lamed day, with only a few lessons since I'm Economics H1. Had 2 or 3 breaks in a row, although the 2nd break was taken by Chemistry remedial (I screwed my Chemistry test =C), but still, going home around 1:20pm was good. Had lunch with a few of my classmates, Bryan, Daryl, Jimmy and Shi Sheng at the food court opposite TJC, and then Bryan went back to school for some stuff (Choir I think) while the rest of us went to Bedok interchange, and we went home.

I still have to go out again later though, wushu training later. Hopefully another fruitful session. Now? Working on the poem XD

Bye~!
